Hubert Lefebvre Jones

Hubert Lefebvre Jones (6/10/1921-6/1/2004 (Westhampton Memorial Park) was a long-term draftsman, then architect, with Walford & Wright.  In 1955, he became a non-named partner in the firm along with Charles O. Wilkerson.  When O. Pendleton Wright reorganized the firm on January 1, 1962, Jones and Wilkerson became named partners and the name of the business, then at 22 E. Cary St., was changed to Wright, Jones & Wilkerson.  Jones was an Army veteran of WWII.  At his death on June 1, 2004, Jones was retired from the practice of architecture and had been married to his wife Frances for 62 years.  They had two daughters.  David Robinson met several times with Mr. Jones in 1975 and 1976 when he began his research into Charles M. Robinson and the successor firms.
